Hotshots
Hotshot shipments pertain exclusively to ground shipping and are expedited by nature.
Simply put, STG’s ‘hotshot’ is no-nonsense shipping. This shipment option doesn’t stop for anything. Except for the occasional refueling, hotshot assignments are direct with no mid-connections or transfers along the way.
STG will load your cargo on a dedicated truck, assign the necessary amount of drivers, and outfit them with the appropriate attire required for delivery. Despite the straight-forward nature of ‘hotshots’, STG still makes available to you our premiere shipment visibility software so you can always track where your truck is.
Expedited
Sometimes one shot is all you get. Which is why, on the ground, ‘hotshots’ are a superior option. No matter the size. Small box or large freight. Hotshots can deliver in- and out-of-state. In just one direct trip, your cargo arrives in the same truck and with the same driver(s) it was initially assigned to. No transfers. Just results.
Pickup Trucks
For small capacity shipments, don’t over complicate things. If it’s under 1500lbs and can fit in a standard pickup truck, then a truck is all you need. At that point, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more economical, expedited ground shipping option.
Cargo Vans
You have a small shipment, but the contents are too sensitive to entrust to an exposed pickup truck. This happens all the time. Which is why STG has cargo van shipping options. Able to handle between 1500lbs. to 3500lbs., vans are not only economical, they also provide dependable protection.
Stakebed Trucks
Stakebeds trucks are our base option for all you heavy lifters out there. Wherever you are going, STG can follow. With bed lengths stretching from 8’ to 20’, STG’s stakebed capacity is customizable to you. From 2000lbs. up to 9000lbs., stakebeds can surely pull their weight and then some.
Box Trucks
Box trucks are a great ‘catch all’ option. 24’ long, 90” wide and 96” high with a cargo capacity of 12,000lbs., box trucks are a workhorse of a fleet. Able to handle large or small shipments, box trucks usually come equipped with a liftgate. Which makes offloading large valuable pieces - like furniture or commercial products – as simple as pushing a button.
Gooseneck Trailers
STG likes gooseneck trailers because we understand that sometimes shipments are about more than just weight. Dimensions also factor in. Available in a variety of lengths, STG recommends gooseneck trailers for all your ‘high’ and ‘wide’ load cargo. With goosenecks, the sky is the limit. Actually the capacity is 15,000lbs., but you get the point.
